Adding a User with the “Analytics User” Role

This article describes the security permissions associated with the "Analytics User” role.

The Analytics User has the ability to view the Outcomes Dashboard and Analytics tabs in SureImpact without having access to anything else. This role is useful for individuals such as board members, funders, other external stakeholders, or auditors.

To add a user with the “Analytics User” Role 

  1. In the top navigation, click Staff.
  2. Click Add Staff.
  3. Enter the First Name and Last Name.
  4. Enter the Email the Staff user will use to access SureImpact.
  5. Enter the staff’s Hire Date. (This field is required to create a new user in the database. If you don’t know what date to put, you can just put something like 01/01/1900.)
  6. Click the Role dropdown menu, and then select Analytics User.
  7. Click Save.
