Assigning/Unassigning Staff from a Manager

This article describes the security permissions associated with the "Manager" role.

Users with the “Manager” security role are able to have Staff members assigned to them. The Manager is then able to see and edit the client records for everyone assigned to Staff assigned to them.

  1. On the right side of the top navigation, click Staff.
  2. Under the Active tab, select the desired Manager.
  3. Click Assign Staff.

    Note: The Assign Staff button only displays if the staff member you have selected is a Manager.

  4. Under the Assigned Staff heading, you can see two columns: the Available column shows the staff that can be assigned to the Manager. The Selected column displays the staff that you assign to the Manager, and/or the ones that have already been assigned to the Manager. Click the plus icon next to the staff member(s) you want to assign to the Manager.

    Note: You can click the scroll bar to scroll through all staff and select the desired ones. You can also type the staff member’s name in the Search field, and then select the desired staff member(s).

  5. To unassign staff from a Manager, click the minus sign icon next to the staff member’s name.
  6. Once you have added and/or removed all desired staff members, click Save. A confirmation message will appear.
  7. Click Confirm to finish adding/removing staff members from the manager.
  8. Click Save Staff.
