Editing a Schedule Rule

Learn how to edit existing schedule rules, including dates, times, repeat frequency, and available days for a specific service.

A schedule rule determines a service's availability by defining the dates, times, and days when the service can be provided. Multiple schedule rules can be used to accommodate different schedules and recurring availability patterns.

To edit a schedule rule:

  1. In the top navigation, click Services.
  2. Select the desired service.
  3. Click Service Actions, and then select Manage Schedule.
  4. Locate the desired schedule rule, and then click the pen icon under the Action menu.
  5. In the Schedule Name field, update the name of the existing rule, if needed.
  6. Click the calendar icon in the Start Date field, and then select the date you want the rule to start.
  7. Click the calendar icon in the End Date field, and then select the date you want the rule to end.
  8. Click the clock icon in the Start Time field, and then select the time you want the rule to start.
  9. Click the clock icon in the End Time field, and then select the time you want the rule to end.
  10. The Repeats every setting determines how often the schedule rule repeats. To have the rule occur every week, such as every Wednesday, set Repeats every to 1 week. To have the rule occur every other week, set Repeats every to 2 weeks.
  11. The Days available setting determines which days of the week the schedule rule applies to. Select one or more days from Sunday through Saturday. The schedule rule will only apply on the days you select.
  12. Click Save Availability to save your changes. The updated schedule rule will now appear in the schedule rules for this specific service.

Note: If every day has the same Start Time and End Time, you can select multiple days in the Days available field. If different days have different Start Times and End Times, each set of hours must have its own schedule rule.

Example: If you select Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the schedule rule will apply only to those three days.
